The Lady Redhawks traveled to Buford for a Tri-Match on September 17th and came up with a split losing to Buford and beating North Central. On the 19th the Lady Redhawks traveled to Camden for a region match and came up short losing to the Bulldogs. This week the Lady Redhawks will be back home on Tuesday September 24th with an important region match with Lower Richland and then travel to AC Flora on Thursday September 26th.

The Lady Redhawks lost to RNE last Tuesday 6-1. The lone winner was 8th grader Caroline Stewart who won a thrilling 3 set match with the #1 singles player from RNE. On Thursday the Lady Redhawks fell to Camden. This week the Lady Redhawks host Lower Richland on Tuesday September 24th and travel to AC Flora on Thursday.
Cross Country (Redhawk Boys Romp):
The Redhawk Boys came away victorious last Wednesday at the Camden Duals defeating Lugoff-Elgin, Sumter, Lower Richland, Camden, and RNE. On the girls side Emma Howe had her Personal Best of 22:46 and finished 4th overall. On Saturday, in the highly competitive Lake Murray Invitational, Ereck Lewis finished 32nd with a time of 17:20. The Boys finished 15th overall against some of the top teams in the state. The girls were again led by Emma Howe (23:13) and 8th grader Madison Hancock (23:21).
Football:
This past Friday was another inspiring effort by our Redhawks (1-3) vs Spring Valley (4-0) in a 24-14 defeat. The Redhawks got a strong effort from running back Christian Brown and backup Quarterback Nick Leveretter played solid in a backup role to injured Chris Patterson. The defense did a good job of holding the high scoring Vikings to their lowest point total of the year (24pts). The Redhawks come back home this Friday for Homecoming vs Ridge View. Come out Friday to support our Redhawks!!
