In recognition of National Library Card Sign-up Month, librarians from the Richland County Public Library visited Westwood on September 23 to talk about their services and to sign students up for their own public library cards. The event was a smashing success, with 54 students signing up for library cards, the most the public librarians have ever had sign up at one event! In addition to e-books and research assistance that they are entitled to with their new library cards, the students were thrilled to learn about the free music downloads they they'll receive every week. They also can't wait to start using the music recording studio and the 3D printer at the new Teen Center at the Main Branch of the Richland County Public Library. http://www.richlandlibrary. com/check-it-out/teens
