Redhawk Athletic Review October 7th-11th

Girls Golf: The Lady Redhawks had the week off last week and will be participating in the Region IV Championship at Timberlake Golf Club on Tuesday October 15th. Go Redhawks!

Girls Tennis: Only had one match last week and it was postponed due to weather and rescheduled for Monday October 14th. The Lady Redhawks will also host Camden on the 15th and will travel to Lower Richland on the 16th. Go Redhawks!

Volleyball- Redhawks Spike Dreher and Lose to Blythewood: Our Lady Redhawks picked up another region win vs Dreher last week improving to 4-4 in region play but couldn't overcome District rival Blythewood. The Lady Redhawks are still holding on to hopes of making the playoffs and have a slight edge over AC Flora for the last playoff spot. Come out to support the Redhawks on the 15th on "Dig Pink Night" vs Camden. The Lady Redhawks will wear pink uniforms in honor of Breast Cancer awareness month.

Cross Country: Both of our Cross Country teams had the week off last week and were preparing for this week's race at Chapin on Wednesday and the Sandhills Invitational on Saturday. Go Redhawks!

Football- Redhawks Run Wild and Demolish Dreher: After a slow start with turnovers and penalties the Redhawks caught fire in the 2nd quarter and ran away from Dreher defeating the Blue Devils 38-3. The win set a record for largest margin of victory in school history. The defense dominated Dreher holding the high powered Blue Devil offense to 27 total yards for the game. Our Redhawks come back home on Friday to face AC Flora in a huge game with major playoff implications. The Falcons come in 0-2 in region play and look to get back in the playoff race. $5 tickets will be on sale at lunch on Wednesday only. Tickets at the gate Friday will be regular price at $6.
