We are very proud of our Marching Band students this week. They attended the Mustang Classic at Midland Valley High School on September 28th and performed very well!
The Band earned second place in their class, and Drum Major, Meleah Riddle, earned the award of best Drum Major in Class 1A.
Across the board in almost every caption, the band was in second place including Music, Visual, General Effect, Color Guard, and Percussion. This was a fantastic first showing for us, and we look forward to adding some finishing touches to the show in the next few weeks and finishing out our season strong.
The Marching Band will attend the Town of Blythewood Tournament of Bands on October 12 at Blythewood HS. Our performance time is at that event is 12:15 PM. We will also travel to James F. Byrnes HS on October 19 for the SCBDA Class 3A Upper State Finals.
