All students who are in their 2nd year of high school must take the High School Assessment Program (HSAP) test on April 1, 2, and 3. This is the exit exam which must be passed before graduation. Students in the 11th and 12th grades who have not passed the exam will also be tested on those dates. Parents, please do not schedule any appointments that will cause your child to miss school on the mornings of April 1, 2 and 3. Students should get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, and bring 2 number 2 pencils to testing. Students will take the English Language Arts test on April 1 and 2 and the Math test on April 3. Students may bring a calculator for the Math test, but the memory will be cleared before and after the test. If you have any questions about the HSAP test administration, please contact Dr. Cheryl Guy at cguy@richland2.org or (803) 691-4049, extension 36116.
