March is National Athletic Training Month! Athletic Trainers are allied-healthcare professionals who work in conjunction with a licensed physician to prevent, recognize, treat, and rehabilitate musculoskeletal injuries sustained while participating in physical activity. Westwood students have the opportunity to participate in our after school program where they gain exposure to this profession while assisting Athletic Trainers in caring for their fellow Redhawks! Applications are currently being accepted until March 31st for the 2014-2015 school year, and are available in the Westwood Athletic Training Room!
