In addition, senators entered 3 projects in competition against all of the AAA and AAAA schools in the state. They won first place for all 3 projects. These projects were for
1. School Spirit (Rowdy's entrance at home football games)
2. School Service (Adopt-a-hallway) and
3. Recognition (Teacher appreciation week activities from May 2013)
AND
If that wasn't enough, Junior Ekklesia Hawkins was elected Chair of the SC District 4 student councils which means Westwood will host the District 4 Rally this October!
Please congratulate any members of student government in your classes and encourage those kids in your classes with leadership potential to get involved and make a difference! Applications for 2014-15 student government are now available outside of student activities.
