It's once again time to begin updating sports physicals, as April 1st opens the new eligibility period for next school year! Richland School District Two has officially adopted a new sports participation packet, including the High School League physical, which must be turned in by each student who wishes to participate in conditioning, weightlifting, tryouts, or practice for any sport at Westwood.
Only the District's version of the physical will be accepted as valid. This means that athletes and parents must either pick up a copy from the school, or print a copy from the school or District's
Westwood will be offering physicals at the cost of $10 on Saturday May 3 at 10:30 AM at Providence Northeast Hospital on Farrow Rd for any students interested. Students must turn in the completed packet signed by their guardian and pay the $10 fee no later than April 24th to participate in this opportunity. Your participation in this event would be much appreciated as all proceeds directly support Westwood Sports Medicine.
Physicals dated prior to April 1 will ALL expire on June 30th, so please pick up a copy of the packet and return all paperwork to the Athletic Training Room as soon as possible to ensure that your child's participation is uninterrupted.
