On Saturday, October 19th, the Redhawk Band earned 8th place out of 22 performing marching bands in class 3A at the SCBDA Upper State Marching Band Championships.
They will travel next week to Batesburg-Leesville to attend State Finals in Class 3A with 19 other groups from across the state.
The parents and staff of the Redhawk Band are extremely proud of the incredible hard work and dedication our students have demonstrated this year. It is absolutely amazing that a small band of 19 winds, 12 percussion, and 9 Color Guard could achieve so much when compared to other bands in 3A, many of which are much larger in size.
