On September 28th, the Redhawk Band attended the Mustang Classic at Midland Valley High School. The Band earned an Excellent Rating and 2nd Place in their class. Drum Major Meleah Riddle earned the award for Outstanding Drum Major in class.
On October 12, the band attended the Town of Blythewood Tournament of Bands where they earned an Excellent Rating and 3rd place in their class.
On October 19, the Redhawk Band traveled to James F. Byrnes High School in Spartanburg, SC to attend the South Carolina Band Directors Association Upper State 3A Marching Championships. The band earned an Excellent Rating and 8th place out of 22 participating band programs earning them a trip to STATE MARCHING FINALS for the first time in school history!!!
On October 26, the Redhawk Band traveled to Batesburg-Leesville High School for 3A STATE FINALS. They performed a fantastic show and placed 19th. The faculty, staff and parents are extremely proud of our students and the amazing accomplishments they have had in this year, just our second year of existence!
