2nd Annual Workskills in Action Dinner

Blythewood and Westwood High Schools cordially invite you to attend:

What:     2nd  Annual Workskills in Action Dinner

Where:  Redhawk Cafe at Westwood High School

When:    January 23, 2014           6:00-9:00 pm

Cost:      $24 per ticket                  Purchase by January  21, 2014

   Each school will receive $ 1.00 per ticket for their backpack program!

Transition students from both schools will showcase a wide variety of work skills while providing an upscale dining experience for guests from across Richland School District Two and the Blythewood Community. The evening will include:

• Dinner choice of Shrimp & Grits or Chicken Parmesan, salad, bread, beverage, & dessert
• Musical entertainment & dancing
• Video presentation featuring BHS & WHS students participating in a variety of transition activities and some of our area business partnerships
• A silent auction of items crafted by BHS & WHS students
• A silent auction of items/services donated by local businesses
• Complimentary flowers & chocolate
• Great fun for a great cause!

All proceeds will benefit future Transition Activities for students with special needs at both schools.  

Childcare for District Employees attending this event will be provided for $5 per child (proceeds benefit the backpack programs at respective schools).  It will include pizza, drink, & fun activities in a safe, supervised location.  District ID is required.
